Day 5: At the Mall of Asia (January 30, 2009)

I was told that Joy had a rare kid’s day today.

Her mom and dad took her to the Mall of Asia. 

That’s a rare treat.  Joy has not been to the big city since she was a baby. 

Mom and dad bought her comfy socks, treated her to ice cream, made her feel like she was a regular kid.  Albeit with special needs.

Let them be.  It’s a rare event.
